Reining champions John and Seth Ingram team up with ThinLine

John Ingram
Durham, NC- ThinLine, LLC introduced Jon and Seth Ingram, the father and son team of Ingram Training Stables, as their new Pro-Ride Western Felt Saddle Pad featured riders. Jon has been a professional trainer for over 30 years and has nine Reining Horse World Championships to his credit. Seth has been a top ten rider in two Open divisions in the National Reining Horse Association. He has trained and shown reining horses to several titles for the Double J Ranch and Ed Fear Quarter Horses. He is competing at the National Reining Horse Association futurity in 2008.

Seth Ingram tested an initial Pro-Ride Western Felt Saddle Pad for ThinLine, LLC and immediately ordered the pads for his entire string. “I was impressed with the fit, feel and comfort of the pad,” Seth Ingram said. “I especially like the cut, as it allows for free movement of my horse’s shoulders and the length is perfect so my saddle sits comfortably. This pad and saddle work together and give me great contact with the horse. This pad has been a real benefit to our barn.”

Jon Ingram readily agreed, “These Pro-Ride felt pads are the best I’ve ever used by far. My horses’ backs are not sore and neither is mine. I can feel the cushion when I ride. The Pro-Ride insert system makes my saddle fit a horse that’s low in front better, and balances me in the saddle.”

The pad has a number of attributes to enhance the horse’s performance. The Pro-Ride Western Felt Saddle pad features the revolutionary ThinLine open-cell foam construction to relieve pressure points and decrease back stress. It has been designed to free the horse’s shoulders encouraging suppleness and relaxation. The Pro-Ride Felt Pad was also designed to reduce impact on the rider’s lower back while providing close contact and increasing rider stability.

“The Pro-Ride was developed after several requests from western riders,” explained Elaine Lockhead, president of ThinLine, LLC. “Riders wanted a felt pad with the shock absorption and performance design that our sheepskin pad offers.” Classic Equine, a manufacturer well known for producing top quality, durable equestrian products, makes the ThinLine Pro-Rider Western Felt pad.

The new ThinLine Pro-Ride Western Felt pad is now available online and in western tack stores throughout the U.S. For more information on the complete line of ThinLine products, visit www.thinlineinc.com or call 1-888-401-910.
